 ### A Simple English Reading Text: "My Day at the Park"

Last Saturday, I went to the park with my family. The sun was shining, and the weather was warm. We packed a picnic basket with sandwiches, fruits, and drinks.

When we arrived at the park, we saw many people. Some were playing soccer, while others were riding bicycles. Children were laughing and playing on the swings and slides.

My little brother wanted to play on the playground, so we went there first. He had so much fun going down the slide and climbing the jungle gym. I pushed him on the swing, and he laughed happily.

After playing, we found a nice spot under a big tree to have our picnic. We spread out a blanket and enjoyed our food. The sandwiches were delicious, and the fruits were sweet and juicy.

After lunch, we decided to take a walk around the park. We saw beautiful flowers and tall trees. We even spotted some ducks swimming in the pond. My sister loved to feed the ducks with some bread we brought.

As the sun began to set, we packed our things and headed home. I felt happy and tired after a fun day at the park. I can't wait to go back again!
